Eddie cheated on Catherine. When Catherine found out, she left him. Eddie is accused of raping an exotic dancer, but is later cleared. Eddie sent children's service after Catherine when she forgot to pick up Lindsey from ballet class. Eddie took a second mortgage on their house, without asking Catherine. Eddie is shot in the stomach during an argument and later dies.
